The days are warming up here in the foothills of South Carolina, and flowers are blooming in the yard. Hubs is reforesting our acreage, and I finally hung baskets on the front porch. Here’s a pic of my first rose:

I cried when I finished the draft and again when I finished my internal edits. This story has so many twists and turns and the revelation about Death and Chloe knocked me for a loop – and I’m the author! Sometimes, my characters surprise even me.
