Spring is a season that signifies new beginnings, renewal, and rejuvenation. My flowers are blooming, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of fresh grass and blossoming trees. I love the feeling of a fresh start and anticipating the coming summer days of sunshine and sitting on my back porch.
For those who played my “What color will the irises be?” Guess what? They’re my favorite color – purple! Thank you to everyone who emailed me with their prediction. It was great to hear from so many of you.
Speaking of fresh starts, Rory sure gets one in Covert Tactics, releasing May 23rd. Copyedits are done and it’s off to my line editor. Usually I don’t enjoy the editing process nearly as much as the writing of a story, but I totally was sucked in again by this character’s journey to his HEA. I LOVE this book so much. Certain characters call to me, and Rory is definitely one of them.
Spring always feels like a second New Year to me, inspiring me to set new goals and try new adventures. I’ve purchased plants and herbs for a garden and I love the mystery of watching our trees and plants bloom in our new place. Every day feels like an adventure!
