This checklist provides a simple yet powerful structure for you to maintain your practice, align your energy, and support your healing journey.
Follow these daily steps to stay connected to Reiki energy, deepen your self-awareness, and track your progress.
Consider posting somewhere where you’ll see it all the time and see how many you do every day.
Morning Routine
1. Set an Intention for the Day: Begin your day by taking a moment of quiet reflection. Set a clear intention that resonates with your current needs or desires.
Examples include: “I embrace peace and balance,” or “I am open to healing energy.” This intention will guide your energy throughout the day, grounding your focus in positivity and awareness.
2. Self-Reiki Practice: Engage in a short self-Reiki session, ideally for 10-15 minutes. Use the standard hand placements, moving from the crown of your head down to your feet, or focus on areas that need extra attention. As you channel energy, visualize white or golden light filling your body, restoring balance, and clearing any blockages. Trust your intuition as you move through the session.
Evening Routine
1. Reflection and Gratitude: At the end of your day, take a few minutes to reflect on your experiences. What went well? What challenges did you face? How did your intention guide you through the day? Close your reflection with a moment of gratitude, acknowledging the lessons, insights, or healing that came to you.
2. Chakra Scan and Balancing: Perform a quick chakra scan before bed. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and mentally scan your body from the root chakra to the crown. Pay attention to any sensations or areas of tension. If any chakra feels blocked or imbalanced, visualize it being filled with vibrant energy, using the appropriate color (e.g., red for the root, violet for the crown). You can also place your hands over any chakra that needs extra healing and send Reiki energy to it.
3. Journaling Progress and Observations: End your day by journaling any insights or observations. Write about how you felt during your Reiki practice, any shifts in your energy, or emotional and physical changes you noticed. Tracking your experiences helps you stay aware of your healing journey and provides a reference point for future reflection.
More ways to use Reiki throughout the day:
Shower/bath: draw the Cho Ku Rei on the showerhead or water faucet, with the intention that Reiki flows as you shower/bathe.
Bed: Reiki your bed before you sleep and when you wake up. Sweep your arms across the bed. Notice any spots that feel differently and send extra Reiki to those. Draw the Cho Ku Rei symbol on the bed.
Computer/cell phone: Reiki the screen or make a background incorporating Reiki symbols. Intend that you receive Reiki the whole time you use the computer/phone and that all of your correspondence is filled with Reiki to assist with understanding and comprehension.
You can Reiki appliances, your car, your clothes, your food and drink. Draw Cho Ku Rei on all entrances to your house and the windows.
The only limit to using Reiki is your imagination!
