My last post was scheduled to tell you about a flash sale and it failed to publish. I was in the middle of moving into our new home, so I didn’t notice it. Oh well, that’s life, right? I’m grateful for all of you who subscribe to my newsletter (which always goes out) and picked up the SEALs of Shadow Force: Spy Division special collection for only 99¢ while the sale was on. If you didn’t, you can still get the set for cheaper here in my store than at retailers.
We’re thrilled to be in our new home and our “Hallmark”-esque small town (our Florida realtor termed it that when she researched it.) There are lots of projects yet to do and more stuff to move out of storage and unpack, but we made it! If you’ve ever sold a house, moved out of state and bought a new house, spending several weeks home “free” in between and hoping all goes smoothly at closing time, you’ll understand my relief.
We’re painting and changing out light fixtures, fans, etc., and getting to know the area. We’ve met some nice people downtown and at the Farmer’s Market that’s held each Saturday morning. Folks are so friendly, we feel right at home. One of the best things is that the dogs are super happy and enjoying their new fenced-in backyard. They love to race around it and chase the squirrels!
Covert Affairs, SEALs of Shadow Force: Spy Division, Book 4, released with very little fanfare due to our move. Thank you to those who grabbed a copy and left a review! I always appreciate my fans supporting me, and it was extra nice knowing that even though I couldn’t give the story the launch it deserved, you guys were still there for it. I love Vivi and Ian so much, and I’m already at work on Covert Tactics (featuring Rory and Amelia). Writing in Beatrice’s world, and her SEALs, is always exciting and fun!!

Well, back to unpacking and cleaning for me. Also, I’m trying to learn the grocery store layout and what items are where. Who knew it would take me repeated trips to get used to it?? I also have to find a new dentist, doctor, veterinarian, etc. One cool thing we now have is a kitchen garbage can with a soft-close lid. Amazing! How did I go all these years without one?
Oh, and here’s my new grand-kitty, Princess Winona. Isn’t she a cutie? I adore her and her feisty attitude!
